Approach - Synergizing
Improving collaboration requires more than insight. It requires having the conversations, especially in the moments where it becomes uncomfortable. That’s where Pace works.
Start: understanding what’s really going on
A trajectory starts with individual intakes with the team members, often combined with an assessment.
This provides a clear view of:
– what is happening beneath the surface
– where tension sits
– where expectations are unclear
– what is not being said
Not as an abstract diagnosis, but as input for the conversations that follow.
In the conversation itself
This is followed by group sessions with the team, focused on the topics that are actually present. What is usually avoided or postponed is brought into the conversation.
During these sessions, communication is adjusted in real time:
– what is said, and what is not
– where misinterpretation occurs
– what is being avoided
– how to say what you actually mean
Teams don’t learn this in theory first. They learn it while doing it.
Structure and duration
Each trajectory is tailored to the team, the size of the group and the complexity of the situation.
For teams of approximately 3 to 7 people, a trajectory typically includes:
– around 6 group sessions (±3 hours each, including preparation and documentation)
– 2 focused training sessions (for example on feedback and difficult conversations)
– individual coaching in between, where needed
For larger teams, the setup is adjusted based on group size and dynamics.
Duration and intensity depend on the complexity of the situation, both in the number of topics and how deeply they are embedded.
What changes in practice
Often, a shift is already visible within the first sessions in how the team speaks to each other.
Within 3 to 6 months, results become visible in collaboration and decision-making.
The immediate issue is resolved, while the team develops the ability to handle conversations that would previously be left unspoken.
What makes this different
Many trajectories focus either on insight or on skills.
Pace brings both together.
The work doesn’t happen outside the situation, but within it.
As a result, not only the conversation changes, but also the behaviour behind it.
The approach — Synergizing — works across three layers at the same time:
– awareness
– organisational structure
– communication
The assessment provides a clear starting point: where friction sits and what is missing, so the work focuses on what has the most impact.

What it's like to work with Pace
We are open and do not judge.
We are direct without being harsh.
We point out what others often skip.
We provide guidance precisely at the moments when tension becomes visible.
We keep the conversation light, but not superficial.
Teams experience that as:
-
more rest,
-
clearer conversations,
-
fewer misunderstandings,
-
faster to the core,
-
agreements that work.
Why this approach works
We work with real situations, real emotions, and real choices: precisely where behavior changes and collaboration takes shape.
